Position:

Senior Product Development Engineer

Summary:

Lead the mechanical development work, problem resolution and design of existing and new products for heavy-duty truck and trailer braking and suspension systems.

Responsibilities:

Design systems and parts for heavy duty automobiles that meet needs and requirements. Alter and modify structure designs to meet specific customer preferences. Coordinate product development projects with international manufacturers. Evaluate final products overall performance and reliability. Prepare product reports and documentation.

Requirements:

• Solid understanding of core concepts including mechanics, kinematics, and materials science.
• Proficient usage of engineering modelling, design and analysis tools including Solidworks, Hyperworks, Matlab, Ansys or similar.
• Strong ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner.
• Strong technical writing skills and MS Office skills.
• Master of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering and 1-2 years' experience in mechanical structure design and optimization.
• Adequate knowledge in heavy-duty automobile engineering is desirable.
